The entrance hall where the passports were checked was renovated and had many ads for products from Western countries. Once we passed it and picked up our luggage we were looking for a ride into the city.
We were considering flying to the same region again: we thought of going to Brazil, Venezuela or Guatemala. We were asking a lot of friends on their travel experiences to these countries.
Lunch was given at a family-run restaurant back in the valley. The headaches disappeared once were were back at 2000 meters. From there we continued to the Salar, a salt lake, mostly arid.
